AETech Electrical Training Center is located in the Beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota, serving the electrical training needs of electricians in Wyoming (WY), Montana (MT), Nebraska (NE) , and (SD) South Dakota , among other many states.
In this site you will find information on the variety of educational courses that we offer for the electrical trade.
We provide a 4-month Apprentice training program that can be taken as a Electrical Apprenticeship educational course or as a source of education for a working apprentice.
Our Exam prep course has been of benefit for many working electricians as they prepare to take their Journeyman, Master, Electrical Contractor or Electrical Inspector licensing exams. We also provide continuing education classes on the National Electrical Code to help electricians meet their NEC Code CEU requirements for license renewal and to help them learn of code changes.
This course will help you understand the changes in the National Electrical Code and get up to date on code requirements, code tables, and calculations. This course is approved for continuing education Code credit for electrician license renewal in a number of states, including: SD, WY, NE, MT, IA, UT, MN, AK. Other states accept our class based on the SD or one of the other pre-approvals.
This class is your opportunity to become familiar with the National Electrical Code. We have included this class as the first two days of the Exam Prep week to allow you an Article-by-Article review of the current National Electrical Code.
To complete the Exam Prep week, you may prefer to register for the complete 5-day Comprehensive Exam Prep classes. If you are not sure which class you should be taking, please contact us for assistance.
Illustrations taken from Mike Holt's Code Changes book will be used, interspersed with applications of the code to review the use of code tables and calculations. This class will also include sample Code Calculations and use of NEC Code Tables. Many electricians also take this class as a good review and update on the NEC, even if they do not need the continuing education hours for license renewal. Either way, keeping updated on the electrical code will enable you to be more competent at your job. Locations where this class is typically scheduled include South Dakota, Wyoming, North Dakota and Montana.
